Privacy Policy – Refundr

1. Controller

Refundr is operated by ALBHU Kft., Perc utca 6, 1036 Budapest, Hungary; tax number 32070851-2-41. Contact: hello@refundr.app.

2. Data and purposes

We process account details; purchase, warranty, receipt and document data you provide; subscription status; device, security, diagnostic and notification data; and, subject to your privacy choices, analytics and advertising data. Processing is based on providing the service, legal obligations, legitimate security interests, or consent as applicable. We do not receive full payment-card details.

3. Service providers

We do not sell personal data. We use Google Firebase/Google Cloud (including cloud OCR and AI-assisted data extraction), Google Play, ML Kit, AdMob and Apple services, and clearly identified partners only when you request their feature. Lawful safeguards are used for transfers outside the EEA.

4. Photos and documents

Refundr accesses only photos you select or capture. Android uses the system Photo Picker/file picker and does not request READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, or broad storage access. Selected documents may be securely transmitted, stored with your account and processed with OCR. If recognition is incomplete or uncertain, AI may use only the recognized document text to help correct merchant, date, amount or item data. AI does not make legal or warranty decisions, and you can review and edit the result.

5. Retention and deletion

Account data is retained while the account exists or until deleted. Account deletion starts removal of related authentication, database and uploaded-file data without undue delay; residual technical backups are removed within up to 30 days. Legally required records may be retained for the mandatory period.

Delete your account in Settings → Delete Account, or email hello@refundr.app. Subscription cancellation is a separate action in Google Play or the App Store.

6. Security and rights

We use encrypted transport, access controls, Firebase Security Rules and app-integrity protections. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, object, or withdraw consent by email. You may complain to the Hungarian NAIH or your local supervisory authority.

7. Children and changes

Refundr is not directed to children. Updated, dated versions of this Policy will remain publicly accessible on this page.
